Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; 2\u00a0and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. 3\u00a0And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him. 4\u00a0Then Peter answered and said to Jesus, \u201cLord, it is good for us to be here; if You wish, [a]let us make here three tabernacles: one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.\u201d
\n5\u00a0While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, \u201cThis is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!\u201d 6\u00a0And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces and were greatly afraid. 7\u00a0But Jesus came and touched them and said, \u201cArise, and do not be afraid.\u201d 8\u00a0When they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

Und nach sechs Tagen nahm Jesus den Petrus, den Jakobus und dessen Bruder Johannes mit sich und f\u00fchrte sie beiseite auf einen hohen Berg.
\n2\u00a0Und er wurde vor ihnen verkl\u00e4rt[a], und sein Angesicht leuchtete wie die Sonne, und seine Kleider wurden wei\u00df wie das Licht.
\n3\u00a0Und siehe, es erschienen ihnen Mose und Elia, die redeten mit ihm.
\n4\u00a0Da begann Petrus und sprach zu Jesus: Herr, es ist gut, dass wir hier sind! Wenn du willst, so lass uns hier drei H\u00fctten bauen, dir eine und Mose eine und Elia eine.
\n5\u00a0Als er noch redete, siehe, da \u00fcberschattete sie eine lichte Wolke, und siehe, eine Stimme aus der Wolke sprach: Dies ist mein geliebter Sohn, an dem ich Wohlgefallen habe; auf ihn sollt ihr h\u00f6ren!
\n6\u00a0Als die J\u00fcnger das h\u00f6rten, fielen sie auf ihr Angesicht und f\u00fcrchteten sich sehr.
\n7\u00a0Und Jesus trat herzu, r\u00fchrte sie an und sprach: Steht auf und f\u00fcrchtet euch nicht!
\n8\u00a0Als sie aber ihre Augen erhoben, sahen sie niemand als Jesus allein.
