Da wir nun eine solche Wolke von Zeugen um uns haben, so lasst uns jede Last ablegen und die S\u00fcnde, die uns so leicht umstrickt, und lasst uns mit Ausdauer[a] laufen in dem Kampf, der vor uns liegt,<\/p>\n
2\u00a0<\/b>indem wir hinschauen auf Jesus,[b] den Anf\u00e4nger und Vollender des Glaubens, der um der vor ihm liegenden Freude willen das Kreuz erduldete und dabei die Schande f\u00fcr nichts achtete, und der sich zur Rechten des Thrones Gottes gesetzt hat.<\/p>\n

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us,<\/i> and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2\u00a0<\/b>looking unto Jesus, the [a]author and [b]finisher of our<\/i> faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.<\/p>\n
